Hush Silk Sleep Mask

Two layers of the same 22 momme mulberry silk we cut the Nightfall pillowcase from, laid face to face so nothing but silk ever touches your lids. Cut deliberately wide across the bridge of the nose, the one gap most masks leave open and the reason a blade of six a.m. light finds you whether you asked for it or not.

High sheen piping runs the full perimeter, finished by hand, so the edge keeps its line after a hundred washes instead of curling into a rope. The strap is silk covered elastic on a small polished slider: set it once and it stays set. No drag at the hairline, no crease pressed into your temple, no tangle to comb out over coffee.

Weightless enough that you forget it a minute after lying down. Opaque enough to sleep clean through a sunrise, a hotel curtain that never quite meets in the middle, or a long haul cabin lit at the wrong hour. Silk stays cool against the thinnest skin on the face and does not pull moisture out of it the way cotton does, so mornings begin softer.

Folded, it disappears into a coat pocket, which is rather the point. It should travel further than the room you bought it for.
